Over the next few weeks, your TfL will be going through a powerpoint with you on your option choices.
The PATHWAYS EVENING is on THURSDAY 26 JANUARY
4.00pm- 5.30pm for Years 8 and 9
5.30pm -6.30pm for Year 10.
For learners in current Yr 9, your focus is on the number of passes you are predicted to gain this year. Those who are at risk of achieving 2 or less GCSE /equivalent qualifications be encouraged to select from the vocational pathways to maximise the opportunity to pass the Level 2 threshold by the end of the Key Stage.
For learners in current Yr 10 your focus first is on Maths and English. Those who are unlikely to pass Maths/English this year can only select from the bottom 2 pathways tables. Then we'll look at numbers of qualifications. If you are unlikely to achieve the level 2 threshold at the end of year 10 then you must be guided to the bottom table, where there are vocational options available.
